The CIHEAM, in partnership with the FARM Foundation and iReMMO Alumni, is organizing the MedClimat 2024 Conference on the theme: "A Mediterranean in Motion: Feeding and Adapting to Climate Change." The event will take place on December 17, 2024, at the Académie du Climat in Paris.
Why MedClimat 2024?
The Mediterranean, a crossroads of agricultural heritage, is facing unprecedented challenges: rising temperatures, resource scarcity, environmental crises, and geopolitical tensions. These pressures threaten the sustainability of food systems, making transnational cooperation and innovative solutions essential.
This event will bring together key stakeholders from the Mediterranean basin â farmers, researchers, policymakers, businesses, and civil society members â to tackle the region's major agricultural and climatic challenges.
MedClimat 2024 is a unique opportunity to take collective action and strengthen the resilience of our food and agricultural systems.
