Project Summary
The project aims at strengthening the growth and socio-economy cohesion between the rural/ coastal communities and the urban areas of Dakar, Kampala, and Zanzibar, supporting peace processes and conflicts reduction, In the urban contexts, the management of agricultural products and by-products is an emergency, characterized by internal conflicts and compromised by supply crises and rising commodity prices. The main objective of the projects is to develop an innovative network of competencies aimed at implementing new logistic organization in the fishery sector value chain as a pilot model: safety and security, added value, short chain, co-management of natural resources, women empowerments.
