At the invitation of the Republic of Turkey, the Ministers of Agriculture of the thirteen member countries of the CIHEAM held their 8th meeting in Istanbul on 8 March 2010. The discussions were devoted to the effects of climate change on food security and safety in the Mediterranean and the actions to be taken.
